CORETEC, which designs and implements innovative and integrated solutions for the development and industrialisation of plastic parts for the automotive industry, announces the acquisition of Tecma, an automotive equipment manufacturer, and its subsidiary Macro Molds by decision of the Commercial Court in Caen on Wednesday, 6 March 2019.

Since 1983, the TECMA Group has been designing and manufacturing special machines for automotive equipment manufacturers.

The company has a design and workshop office in Fleury-sur-Orne and subsidiary Macro Molds in Poland, which deals with designing and manufacturing injection moulds for plastics and special machines for the automotive industry.

This allows the CORETEC Group to combine high-quality expertise with an additional customer portfolio and strengthened geographical presence. Thanks to double-digit organic growth over the last ten years, this first acquisition allowed the Group to accelerate its development.

“I am glad that I can integrate the Tecma i Macro Molds teams with our Group. With this acquisition, we are forming an ALLIANCE with Coretec in order to develop strong industrial¬ synergies, know-how, and our size so that we can become a major player in Europe. This will enable us to offer our customers a global range of “smart et premium” machines and services,” explains Daniel Le Corre, CEO of CORETEC.
